Job details

Under the supervision of the Service Manager, the Technician is primarily responsible for inspecting and calibrating all types of scales in accordance with established procedures, performing repairs when required, and completing the necessary reports related to work carried out in a rigorous and accurate manner. The employee is also expected to participate in all relevant team meetings, which will also serve as an opportunity to share ideas.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and calibrate all types of scales;
  • Analyze equipment issues and implement necessary on-site corrections;
  • Provide clients with appropriate recommendations regarding basic maintenance or required repairs;
  • Install and configure equipment according to client requirements;
  • Complete service reports and calibration records accurately;
  • Inspect and prepare sold equipment for shipment to clients;
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations;
  • Occasionally make decisions during installation situations, demonstrating autonomy.

Requirements:

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Electromechanics;
  • College Diploma (DEC) considered an asset (Instrumentation and Control Technicians: Installation, Maintenance, and Repair);
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license (mandatory).
